We can significantly improve the Tarrant County Jail by focusing on smart solutions that reduce overcrowding. Gabe will champion reforming bail, speeding up trial dates for pre-trial detainees, putting non-violent offenders into community supervision, and ensuring those with mental health needs get psychiatric care, not incarceration. These steps, along with protecting the health and safety of everyone, is both fiscally responsible and essential for a truly just system.

Public Health

Gabe believes in a strong public health program. As County Commissioner, he will protect and fund these essential services, because they are key to everything from mental health crises to disease prevention.

Infrastructure

As Commissioner, Gabe will invest wisely on our roads, bridges, essential services, and county facilities. Residents deserve better than crumbling courthouses.

Accountability

Accountability and transparency are non-negotiable foundations for good county government. As Commissioner, Gabe will ensure every taxpayer dollar is spent wisely, and will always demand open, honest communication so our community knows exactly how decisions are being made.

Advocacy

Gabe will ensure every single resident has a real voice in their government, not just the loudest ones, but those who have felt silenced. Gabe is committed to running an accessible office that actively advocates for fairness across all of Precinct 2 and brings the community to the Commissioners Court.
